Looking for an article that was posted last week I think about building a 451 CID using an LB 400.
Thanks |

I don't recall an article last week but I'm pretty sure we can answer any question that you have. The 451 combo is a great engine, probably the best Mopar big block that can be built with standard parts. 400 block, 440 crank and 440 rods is the basic recipe. Ross, JE, Wiseco, KB and others make pistons for this motor. Turn the crank to an overall diameter of 7.250 and have the mains turned to 383 standard and you're basically done.
