ha ha... latest was about a month ago. group of guys went up to a friends land to ride 4 wheelers, hunt some dove, and camp. 3 of them had no clue, and took the snipe hunting story hook, line, and sinker. so off we go a ways in the woods, give them a bag (no flashlight), and head back to "scare the snipe out" (camp). so we give them 20 min. or so and decide we'll go get them. but wait... one of the guys is carrying a loaded 44 magnum pistol. so of course no one wanted to be the one tramping through the woods to get them. they finally made they're way back after about an hour, not too happy. the rest of us of course got a good kick from it.

Hey Tank,
I hear those " Fantail Snipe " that you have in that Sacramento area are alot more aggressive than the " Foxtail Snipe " we
have down here in our area ?!? Ive also heard that you cant use the standard "Snipe
Sack" because they (THE SNIPE)will chew right through it in no-time flat!!! If you know of any Snipe hunting partys headed towards Bakersfield let me know . Id be more
than happy to show them the best Snipen fields.I might even sell them a "SNIPE BLIND"

Hey Wedge,
If you use a pillow case and a sock with soap in it your sure to not to have any problems with them chewing through your sack. Also I have had a few problems with fantails pissing themselves once you get them in the bag, so where gloves if you ever run into fantails.
