Here's the deal, when you get those pre-approved letters in the mail for every thing from credit cards to 2nd Mortgages, and junk like that? Most of them come with postage paid return envelopes, right?

Well, get rid of some of your other junk mail by putting it in those envelopes and send it back to them! Or, you can send them back that application completely blank(just make sure that your name or any codes are removed from the application).Keep them guessing!!!

The banks would not be too happy getting junk mail. This way they will also be paying for the postage both ways.

Have you ever tried putting a chunk of steel in a postage paid envelope. Postage by weight, you get the idea. you will be taken of the list quick.

I love the weight idea! I usually tear my name off and mix up the stuff, you know send Visa apps to Master Card, stuff like that.

Thumbs up

You guys are bad... snicker-snicker.
I don't know if it can be done in the states but up here in Canada we can send mail to our member of Parliament at no cost. We've had a few people send their junk mail to their MP.
If you can do it there maybe just send your junk mail to the Postmaster General.

Looks like BB just got the latest round of junk email. I say that, because I received that idea in my email about a week ago.

Yes, Ed, I got that idea in an email, but thought it was a good idea! The amount of junk snail mail I get far out weighs the amount of necessary mail that I receive. Not to mention the additional work load put on our mail carriers.(Just my opinion)

When Sarah Brady was fighting to get the Brady bill passed, she sent out mailing envelopes for donations. I know some of my gun buddies taped them to bricks and mailed them in. She quit sending out postage paid envelopes!

According to U.S.C. Title 39 - Postal Service section 3008. Prohibition of pandering advertisements, you can fill out form 1500 to stop delivery of any material you find offensive.
