Cool

Hey everyone,

I'm leaving for dallas on wednesday the 14th and was wondering if anyone new of any hot spots to check out or to avoid. I'm going with about 12 other guys for a national convention but have nights free. None of us have been there before and were looking for some ideas.

John

If you like Cajon style food eat at Papa Deauxs on Northwest Highway (I think its Irving and is my favorite place). I heard that the MicroBrewery and Restaurant at BassPro Shops is good also, its north of DFW airport. PS: Its flatland and I always get lost. Take your GPS along.

AND don't forget Billy Bobs in Fort Worth in the Historic Stock Yards District. A lot of different dance floors and an inside bull riding ring. Plus a lot of places to eat. I think the web address is: billybobstexas.com I got lost big time the first time I went there. Get good directions or you;ll never find it. Its about a half block back from the street.

John,

Find anything interesting to do in Dallas? Ya'll git to Billy Bobs? Also did you go to the "grassy knoll" and the Book Depository where Kennedy was assinated?

sorry boys,
I did what most 21 year old guys do. Go to all the clubs and nudie bars I could. With 13 guys in their 20's getting together, we were lucky to keep or hormones in check. on the other hand, I did go to an all day seminar at Texas A&M and might have a job as a researcher/grad student. I also was able to have free reign of the Ballpark in Arlington. I walked all over the field, bullpen, dugout, etc. I also met a few people that offered me jobs around my area. So I was good boy some of the time. That counts for something doesn't it.

John,
