I read on another board that ram owners were getting worse gas mileage after changing their stock exhaust. Anyone know if this is true? I am about to make a exhaust change and i don`t want get worse gas mileage.

Go back to the board and read my input. Don't believe anything you read (except what I wrote!....that's a joke!).

I installed a system on my 97 5.9 Ram. 3" form the cat to the muffler, Dynomax Ultra Flow, and 3" mandrel bent tailpipe. The mileage did not get any worse, but it also did not get any better as I thought it might.

I imagine the reason that the mileage went down is that now the truck sounds kool and is a little quicker, and now your right foot is a bit heavier. (mine got heavier)other than that it should be better on gas than before.
