I have a 99 Ram reg cab/short bed w/ 360, I've done dual Gibson exhaust, K&N Filtercharger, high performance throttle body from Magnum Performance, and Jet puter. I was wondering if there are any other mods that might give me a increase in mid range to top end power. I have all the low end I need right now. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Headers might be just what you are looking for! I don't have them on my 5.9 Ram, but i am sure someone else could let you know about the top end power. By the way did the Jet puter remove the shut off?

nevin,

Ive got the same basic truck but with a ram
air hood and headers no puter yet but is on order. How did you like the throttle body?
and how was it to install? also I think the headers would help your cause. I used the JBA
stainless ones and am real happy with them.

plum: the throttle body is awesome. What Jules does down @ Magnum performance is bore the ports, remove the top fins and coats it with teflon ... its a definite must have if you need low end power by increasing air flow by 20%. The torque is nice. It took 20 minutes to install the TB and switch the idle air and throttle position sensors. Damn I sound like a commercial.

SJS440: haven't seen a shut off yet but I'll let you know if I do

My 98 318 2wd auto 3.54 open rear was a pig dog from the start. I did the K&N filtercharger, synthetics, Accel wires and SplitFires under an MSD.

It was only AFTER I installed a set of Edlebrock headers that I discovered there is a speed limiter at 112mph.

I put a set of FlowTech headers on my 97 360. I wouldn't recommend them to Bill Clinton: a classic POS, no noticeable performance gain, always a leak somewhere.
