Does anyone have any knowledge of the easiest and most inexpensive way to raise the front end of my 1999 Sport about two inches, so the truck will sit level?
I have been looking at these two inch urethane coil spring spacers at the local parts house. They appear easy to install. Would these cause any problems?

I have another idea for you . . . how about lowering the rear 2" ?

I bought 2" rear dropped shackles and installed them - looks and drives great.

And you can put a carpenters level on the bed and it's perfect.

Now instead of having that huge space between the top of the tire and the bottom of the wheel well, the rear sits down with the same opening that the front has.

There are basically 2 different kinds of dropped shackles: those that have polyurethane sleeves and those that have rubber sleeves with zerk fittings.

I got the ones with zerk fittings because the poly ones have a tendency to squeak after a while (but I hear they may last longer.)

Plus a 2" drop does not require any kind of driveline modifications (like major drops do.)

Something to think about.

"Good luck on your project."

I bought 2" dropped shackles with zerk fittings (to keep the squeak down) from a place called "Autobahn" (Who ordered them from Chassis Tech - I can see it on the purchase order) - (ads in Sport Truck / Truckin magazine).

I bought Hellwig "Sport Tech" anti-sway bars - here is their website: http://www.hellwig.net/

I actually bought them from JC Whitney - cause they had them on sale.

Don't remember the exact price, but it was right around 200 bucks for both of them (seems like the shackles were 75 - 80 and the anti sway bar was 110.)

Hope this helps.

"Good luck on your project."
