Any ideas? You all have been giving great ideas for performance mods on our trucks. I may be in a different situation here, don't know. I need some mods that are going to give me plenty of torque through most of the RPM range. I have a 96 2500 quad cab with a 360, 3.92 gears, K&N FIPK, and Flowmaster exhaust. That's all I've done to it. I have a lawn service and landscaping business and tow a trailer a lot of the time. Any mods will have to allow me to still be able to tow a trailer.
Thanks, Joseph |

A lot of people are going with aftermarket cams to give them what they need. I don't know how radical you can get with one on the newer rams. I'm sure one of the guys who put one in can tell you if it was worth it.
However, I do know that gearing is the way to go when hauling heavy trailers. Depending on the weight of the trailer, you might consider 4.56 gears. Gas mileage will suffer though. GLUCK CY |

Go with a M.P. controller and a 185't-stat(JET),underdrive pulleys,1.7ratio rockers and matching valve springs. If your really serious,a modified TBI.Or you can go to the M.P. single plane intake and 4 barrel TBI for MAGNUMS.TICO racing has this set-up with the injectors already installed/ready to go.
