Question

Can anyone give me some ideas as to where you are getting a (key on) power source for electrical accessories? I'm looking for an accessable male or female spade terminal to connect to for a cell phone.

Use a volt/ohm meter or a test light at the fuse panel with the key switch turning on and off. If not there you could tap into the cig lighter or the aux plug wiring.

Question

Are you installing an older style "bag" phone ? Or do you just need the power cord set up for a cell phone ? Just trying to get the whole picture here . . .

Ram Man has a point, because if you just hook your phone to a 12 vdc source, it may not have enough ampereage to handle the phone, or the wiring will not be big enough and this could cause an electriacl fire. If you are looking for a spade, male or female, use the accessory area of you fuse box, again what type of phone are you using?
