Anybody know much about this stuff (i dont)

Thanx in advance.

Check out the post titled "93 ram upgrades" there is a bunch of talk about high performance Throttle Bodies, in specific the one from Magnum Performance. Seems like people have had no problems with them and they seem to help a lot, I also have a 98 ram with the 5.9L and am concidering getting one of these nifty performance Throttle Bodies.

Here's the link again incase you missed it in the other post. http://www.fastdodge.com/tbi.html

I would like to change my throttle body for my ram but i don`t like the idea of sending in my old one as a core. I would like to keep it in case i want to change it back.Price wasn`t to bad though.

ok, heres the deal with the core thing. They do one up for you, send it to you, and when you get it installed then you send your stock one to them and get a $200 refund. So that your not running around without a TB for a week or two.

I have a Magnum Performance way-oversize (55mm) TB on my '99 Durango 5.9. A friend of mine works at the IL Emissions-testing facility nearby, and ran it thru (pre and post-install)--
Emissions-wise, it had no effect whatsoever!!
Performance-wise, it's amazing.
The Core deal is as posted below. I kept mine, as I will put it back to stock when I sell it (unless it's to a nut like me).
Hope this helps.
Tom
