Thinking about installing the Moroso Blue cool can and wondering if the performance gain is worth the 89 bucks? Thanks

I believe the cool can is more oriented toward keeping the fuel running to the carb at an equal temp for consistency round to round. Yes in hot weather it may help performance, but I don't see it as something you would feel in the seat of your pants.

Rather than spending $89 you could make one out a small thermos or coffee can. Seen several guys do it. They just bend the tubing round and round and round then put a pitcock in bottom to let water drain out. Works like a champ. May cost $20 for the coil.

Bemiller is right!!!
I have a cool can in mine made out of an old instant mashed potatoes can with lid. I drilled two holes in the can at the top to put the line through then coiled aluminum line inside it. Put rubber gaskets around the holes to make it look pretty and painted it black. The Aluminum line was left over from a roll I had bought before but a new roll is only 20 or 30 bucks depending on the size you use.the can wont cost you anything if you can get an old coffee can or something else that size. Then if you want to you can wrap the can with cork or heat wrap for insulation. It may not look as good as the moroso unit but atleast you didnt spend all that on yours and besides that nothing beats the I did it myself statement.

The biggest problem with the moroso cool can besides the price is size! The thing is huge.I couldnt find a big enough place to mount it in my 68 dart or 74 charger so it's going to go in a 63 D-100 pickup. You need an area 9"x 9"x10" tall that's out of sight 'cause it's butt ugly too.
