Anyone kmow what it takes to remove the mirror glass on a 99 Ram with power, heated exterior door mirrors? I want to install the mirrors with the LED arrows that flash with the turn signals.

If you want to take out just the glass, try to get two fingers under the glass mount at both ends & pull. The glass is glued to a plastic mount which is snapped onto the piviot assy. There are two wires attached to the glass for the heater that will unplug. When reinstalling, be sure to line up the mount to the base & use the palm of your hand to snap back onto the piviot.

Thanks for the reply. Is there any chance that pulling the glass off will damage the power/directional mechanism?

If you try to pull evenly outward you shouldn't have any problems - It's pretty simple, you'll see!
