Hey it's me 98DAK from sportruck. I haven't seen you lately on sportruck.com. I posted a message on there about how noone ever answers the "dodge" questions and that almost every post is "v8 swap in an S-10" or air filter for an S-10. That place has gone downhill. It used to be very helpfull. I had been on there for over a year and a half. The original people have left pretty much and it's too much chevy! yuck! That place is about as bad as a integra rice website only filled with s-10's instead. Well, I posted it and I think Jeff@sportruck took it off. That sucks. Now I didn't bash sportruck too hard and didn't say like they suck or anything. Just shows they must caiter to chevy's. So, I said good luck to all and that i probably wouldn't be back until things changed.
What are your thoughts on this? All I have to say is Moparchat.com rules! People are very helpfull here and almost answer or at least try and help you with your problems even if they aren't sure of the answer. Unless it's a chevy question it never get answered or they turn their nose up at it at sportruck. What do you think?

Cool

I know what you mean. I still visit that site often, but it has turned mostly Chevy - as you mentioned. I have been going to that site for a long time as well (long before they ever started the newer forum.) I haven't posted much there lately because of some of the same reasons you mentioned.

Unfortunately - there are lots of aftermarket products for Chevy - and not as many readily available for MOPARs.

I'm not trying to start any bashing here by any means, but I had nothing but bad luck with my Chevy. Paint was peeling almost right away, and I found antifreeze on my oil dipstick in the first 8 months (I bought it new !!!). Four trips to the arbitrator (after the dealer told me there was nothing wrong) and they finally said the block was cracked. Then after a few weeks in the shop (to supposedly fix that problem) they decided to offer me a different vehicle. I TOOK MY MONEY AND RAN.

Sorry - kinda got off the subject. Glad to have you here - this is also a site I visit several times a day.

I also like the fact that people will give you their honest views on all sorts of subjects here - and do it without "flames".

One other great point is: this is a MOPAR specific site - so you don't have to skip over how to drop a ferrari engine in a Mitsubishi etc.

Glad to have you hear, my friend and keep in touch.

Thanks RAM MAN! GLad to be here as well. I too was there before the new forum. True there is not as much available for the mopars but, the aftermarket is pretty good in incorporating mopar into their products. That's what makes the mopar guys so unique. We have to scratch build most of the stuff aftermarket won't make. In most cases mopars have some really trick stuff fabricated because of this. I think it's cool, cause you don't have the same ol' stuff everyone else has. Well, thanks for replying to my message. See, this is what i'm talking about. People that are friendly and willing to help without bashing you right away.

Later,

Jim
