My 94 V10 which was in the first production run of V10s hit a deer in Kentucky a few weeks ago and bent the rad. The old rad was a huge copper core unit with plastic tanks. the new rad is the same size but has an aluminum core. I would like to know from others if 95,96s,97,98, or99s was when the aluminum cores were used in the V10s. I know the V8s ans V6s all had aluminum but I wasn't aware the V10s did.

My truck is a 98 & I scraped some paint off of a couple of the radiator veins & it appears to be an aluminim core.

YES. I HAVE ALUMINUM IN MY 98 V-10 AS WELL. MOST RADS ARE OF THIS MATERIAL NOW A DAYS. CHEAPER TO MAKE AND LIGHTER THAN COPPER.
