Truck sits too high to tow a smaller 5TH wheel. Saw an article in a RV magazine about Pherd supplying a kit to lower their trucks for this purpose (approx. 6"). Also truck is like a billboard in the wind. I have no need for all that suspension travel. Anyone have any experience along this line with a Dodge.

There are several companies out there that make drop kits for 4X4's. I'm pretty sure BellTech is one of them. Here is there website:http://www.belltechcorp.com/ or contact them at belltech@psnw.com
Another company that makes drop kits is Ground Force. Check out: //www.groundforce.com/ These are companies I know for sure make drop kits in general - when you find out the exact info - make sure you come back here and post it . . . I bet others have wondered the same. Also check out your local newstand for SportTruck or Truckin magazine. I'm sure they must have ads in the back to lower 4 by 4's. ------------------ "Good Luck on your project." |

There was another thread on this same subject here a couple of weeks ago. A person had the same problem with his 2500 4x4 being too tall for the 5th wheel trailer. If I recall correctly, he decided to do a spring over on the trailer. It seems to me to make a lot more sense to do a pretty simple change to a trailer than it does to a pretty expenisive change to a truck, especially since you already paid a high price for the 4x4 option.
