Another tip from Mr. Gasket:
Have you ever power brake the Magnum truck - then let it go ? If you are not sure what wheel hop is . . . you are about to find out. Here is a simple fix: Get 2 pair of Mr Gasket spring clamps and bolt them on the forward of the axle, 2 on each side. Now when the pinon rotates up, the front of the springs won't arc as much and your wheel hop decreases. Just make sure the clamps don't interfere with you tire clearance. Sounds easy enough . . . who wants to try ? ------------------ "Good Luck on your project." |

Hey Ram Man,
I never had this problem on my truck. Is it only on certain ones or all that you know of. Mine is a '96 2wd stdcab s/b with 5.2L auto and 3.55 gears. |

Do you know what the part number for the Mr. Gaskets is? Is the mopar price cheaper or more expensive. My truck is a '79, I need something like you are talking about.
