It would be nice to know a little more information, like engine size and use.

Right of the top, that is the Chrysler/MOPAR severe use filter. It can be used on the slant 6, V8, and the V10. Direct replacements for this filter include: Hastings LF477, Baldwin B1429, AC Delco PF2136, Fram PH7226, Purolator L34875.

The Fram is a well known name, however Purolator tends to be better quality. I think the best one of these would be the Hastings.

You may want to read your other posts before writing a new one. I am assuming the filter is for the same vehicle you asked about in your previous question (v10 ram?) that got answered thoroughly.

I would stay away from the FRAM and MOPAR filters. They are the same filter and a very poor ones at that. check out http://minimopar.simplenet.com/oilfilters.html
and http://minimopar.simplenet.com/oilfilterstudy.html

After reading that you can see how most are made and make a good choice on what brand to use. Oil filters are one of the few times that picking Mopar is the wrong thing to pick.
