Have installed J&J Running boards and mud flaps. They have lights 4amber 1clear on each board.1red strip light on mudflaps.
Looking for help on wiring lights.Clear on each side needs to be wired to courtesy light.Amber on boards and red on flaps into park or taillight ckt.
Any ideas on where to tap in appreciated.

Hi Fuzz, sounds like my dream truck! On wiring the running lights make SURE you run these lights on the trailer running lamp circuit. This would be the black wire with the orange tracer that runs back to the receiver hitch. This will allow the added amperage to be routed through the trailer lamp relay in the power distribution center. This way if they ever short out it will only take the fuse out in the PDC and not effect the regular running lamps on the truck. As far as the courtesy lamp I'm not really sure of a convenient place to splice into that circuit.
