Thumbs up

In the Feb. 2000 Mopar Muscle magazine,in the truckstop column there is a place you can order bumper inserts to match your stock grill on '94 and up Rams. I checked it out and they're only $19.95 plus s+h. Their websight is www.unusualauto.com/. A definite cheaper alternative to billet grill and bumper inserts. According to the ad they snap into place with no tools needed.

Rambo, Thank you very much for posting the info about the bumper inserts to match the grill. I have been looking all over the place for them. We just bought a 2000 Ram and my wife wanted something to put in those "Huge, ugly" holes in the bumper. As soon as we get some, I'll let youall know about the fit, quality, looks etc. Thanks, Tom

V10NACUDA has them on his ride. They look good and I am pretty sure he has not had any problems with them falling out. If they charge for shipping and handling I would wait to buy them, I have seen them at alot of shows and swap meets.

Here is some additional info: The inserts for the bumper are designed to fit in the open part of the "sight shield" and not cover the fog light. I'm bummed out. I have an SL model that dosn't have the "sight shields". I wanted to fill up the entire opening. You have to have the "sight shields" because that is what the inserts attach to. Unusual Auto was upfront and honost to explain all this to me. Tom

Sorry the inserts won't fit your truck. I ordered mine Saturday and got them yesterday(Tuesday). They only took a couple minutes to install and look good. I too, thought they covered the whole opening because I don't have fog lights on my truck. I guess I'll get some later.
