Question

Sorry if this is off topic...but I came across a 73 Cuda today. Was originally a 340 car but now a stock 440. Last year quality paint job...all solid...new interior...new exhaust...4.10's...new rubber, questionable leaf springs (has air shocks), no shift kit in tranny, he's asking $12500 Canadian. Thats about $8000US. I say $10 grand Canadian is the max...what do you think? I've been searching around semi-local area and find no Cuda for less than 16 Grand. What is market price for a good shape 73 Cuda?
TIA

I just did some vin decoding and found it to be an original 318 car. It is a nice looking car, but is it worth the asking price?

Hello slepr1. 4 years ago I bought # matching 73 Barracuda for 8,ooo. Canadian. It had a fresh viper red paint job and 74,000 miles on the clock. Interior was pretty much shot, but I liked the car so much what the hell. I have currently rebuilt motor, front end, working on rearend etc. My bills since I have owned car, including rebuild is about 12,000. That,s including new interior etc. Would I do it again you ask, IN A MINUTE. It doesn,t matter what you really pay as long as it,s reasonable and you like what your getting. Ask yourself, if I had 20,000 what would I get from a car lot. Not much. Hopes this helps in your decision. Tim
