I have a 360 4 barrel that I want to fix up. I am shaving the heads .030 and putting on headers. Is there anything else that I could do that will not cost alot and will not take that much time?

A healthier cam and roller timing chain would be nice. While the heads are of you might consider doing some pocket porting; a few hours with a die grinder can give good results. Maybe a performance curve in the distributor would be nice too.

Yeah. My daily driven 360 felt like it picked up 10HP after I shortened the advance slots some and used one med. spring and one light one. All in at 2200RPM. Actually slowed the advance down from 1900rpm and the car got even more low end torque! Cheap and easy.
