I've used Kendall in the past, the 30wt GT-1 racing oil.Worked OK for me,but since Kendall and Amalie are owned by the same company I quit using it a long time ago and went back to using Quaker State. To be honest all the oils today are all good quality, just use your favorite and change it every 3mos/3000 miles.

I agree with Christopher, oils are sometimes blaimed for failures, but very often that is not true. The only thing I have noticed a difference in oils is between mineral and synthetic oils; I recommend synthetics. Castrol synthetic racing 20W60 is the brand I use, there was a clear difference between mineral oil and synthetics on how they held the oil pressure when the oil got HOT. Since I have block filler in the block about 4" and no oil cooler, the oil temperature gets high in continuous driving and with mineral oil my oil pressure is lower than with synthetic.
