Does anyone know if other companies rocker arms can be fabricated to work on magnum heads? Do I just need new studs? yes? no? Why? Ideas...?!? Trying to save money for those of us who are poor! lol.

The Chevy Rockers are a bolt on for the magnum heads. A friend of mine was using Magnum heads on his car and just bought off the shelf Chevy Rollers and bolted them on.
He has since switched to W-2's so no longer uses the Magnums Christian ------------------ 68 'Cuda 383 Working on adding EFI 69 'Cuda Race Parts Car 76 Duster 273 recent transplant 95 Neon 2.0 SOHC best of 16.96 84 Dodge Ram D50 transplanting 360 |

I think you need the goofy guideplates to run the Chebby or the Phord stuff. Check out the ones that Hughes has for sale:
http://www.hughesengines.com/general...um_rockers.asp They are $299 for the set and are 1:6 ratio. I wouldn't even think about adapting something that works marginally when you could buy the correct piece to begin with. You may save that much in headache by buying the one from Hughes. |
