I want to replace the old front end suspension parts with A PST Polygraphite super front end kit in my 74 440 Cuda. Do any of you guys have any input as to replacing my torson bars with new ones or should I reuse the stock small block torson bars.
Is there a good way to remove the ballance weights on my torque converter? I want to use it on my 440 with a steel crank. |

New torsion bars from Mopar Performance is what I'd recommend. MP makes good torsion bars even though a lot of their other stuff is junk.
A small cutoff wheel in a die grinder should be able to take the spot welds on the weights off. |

FLY BOY,
I re did the front suspension on my 440 cuda last year with poly.. Nice change. How ever I decided to stay with the stock torsion bars. If you are into drag racing the lighter T bar that you have will help in weight transfer!!! If you like to carve up the corners go with an up grade T bar. I think PST also sells them in different rates. Remember if you go too stiff of T bar with weaker rear springs, It could make handeling VERY interesting, I think understeer would be the term. my 02 V10 |
