Question

Is there any difference in a 1970 383 (in a 'cuda) with and without A/C (cam, etc.)? And because I am relatively inexperienced mechanically, how difficult is it to remove the A/C?

I think the water pump on a/c cars had 8 blades as opposed to 6 for non a/c cars. I also think that the water pump pulley is smaller , the one on my 66 383 is original& it's smaller than most.
