I've ran in to all the usual problems and have them licked.Now I hear that I have to change steering knuckles!Why?

I am not sure where you heard that from but I would guess its a place that sells steering knuckles. :-) Honestly I don't think that is true I put a 383 in my /6 Duster and didn't encounter any problems with the steering, other than I had to move the steering box bout a half inch to the left. if you have any questions about a 383 duster email me at ncarnes@kiva.net and i'll help you as best I can.

No reason at all to have to change the steering knuckles.Where did you hear this ??? I have a 440 and 383 that I swap out in a 71 Dart(Demon)and haven't had any problems with the swap,it was a bolt in.I don't know why NCarnes had to move his steering box over,because I didn't have to.I assume for header clearence????
