Here it is guys, I got a 94 Dodge Intrepid ES with some mods and more coming. It drags(pretty good) and auto crosses so. But I need some tires cause the ones on don't stick or anything. I lose way too much time at the line and in corners. I am looking for something that sticks and lasts, price too. So here you go, these are the choices and stats and place your vote with comments please. All stats and prices from www.tirerack.com too.

BF Goodrich Comp T/A VR4
340 A A $93 V-rated (149 mph)

Dunlop SP Sport 5000 Symmetrical
340 AA A $82 W-rated (168 mph)

Michelin Pilot XGT H4
400 A A $91 H-rated (130 mph)

Firehawk SH30
460 A A $85 H-rated (130 mph)

Ive had good luck with the Firestone Firehawk SZ-50s they are a good course racing and drag racing tire. Hope this helps?

I have a pair of Firestone SH30's on my Grand Am GT Coupe and wish I also had a pair on my 96 3.5L Intrepid. Although the little 3100 V-6 in the Pontiac doesn't have a lot of pep off the line, the car handles like a dream with the SH30s. Although the SH30s lack that last degree lateral stiffness, they corner quite well - not as good as tires with softer tread compound but still quite good. And the mileage rating is quite high.

By the way, you say you lose too much time on the line. Is this to say you lose time from wheel spin (without manual shifting)? Just pressing on the gas in my Intrepid results in a slight squeal with very little tire spin (Michelin Symmetry tires). Just wondering.

No I actually spin them hard and bad till the smoke comes off them. I am going to order Comp T/A's soon. That will help me a lot.
