HALTECH FUEL/IGNITION SYSTEM

Trying to find out some first hand information on how the Haltech E6/E6K fuel and ignition systems operate/interface. All I know is that Haltech states it will work on any V8 and that it does not hookup to the existing computer, Haltech is offering little information.
I would eventually like to use it on the 1998 5.2/l magnum V8. I'm still confused on how the vehicle's computer sytem and the Haltech system interfaces. I would appreciate any further information than what little I already have. Thank You
