Hi Everyone!

I'm thinking of picking up one of the MP small block short block assemblies. Can anyone tell me anything about these? How well are they put together, who does them, are they new or rebuilt parts?

Thanks!

-Dariusz

They are reconditioned short blocks built by Cummins Re-Con and they do very good work as the diesels have very tight tolerances.Any thing that doesn't pass hits the trash can.Obvious parts are replaced(cam, lifters pistons etc.)blocks are bored +.020 oversize.Pistons are the hyperteutic style, cam is the 292/509 for the non magnum version.I think they are a great foundation for a short block.Price is around $12-1500.00
