I`ve used adjustable linkages from Ramchargers before, but anymore I just use a manual valve body and throw the linkage away.

I got a real simple kickdown linkage from a van. Its only a bracket that bolts to the intake, and a Z bar that goes right down to the kickdoen lever on the trans. I had to tweak the Z bar a little to get around my valve covers, but it seems to work. The linkage just forces the bar back horizontally on open throttle and this acts on the kickdown. Simple.

I would suggest just ordering the Lokar kit. I am about to help install the kit on a friends Trailduster. It looks like a decent kit for the price.

Im with sjs440.Ive got the lokar on my dart.Installation is a snap.Since it uses a cable,if you swap intakes and/or spacers around the cable will not need to be refabricated up like solid linkage. It's worth the money on that alone. The good looks is just a bonus.Im getting ready to put there firewall mounted transmission dipstick on mine.It should make pulling the trans a little less of a headache and get the stick away from the headers.
