I want to run the nippondenso alternator from a '95 Grand Cherokee on my daily driver. I got the idea from Mopar Action mag. The only problem is that I can't find a V-belt pulley that will work. Ehrenberg says I can use the pulley from a late '80s M-body alt. Don't know if he means the big 100amp unit with the fan attached though. Anyone done this swap?
Keep in mind, the nippon is a bolt on pulley and everything else i've seen (mopar) is a press on. |

Mike, Go to your local auto electric rebuilder and tell them what you are doing. They will hook you up with a pulley.

Ehrenberg is a good man. If you Email him and ask for clarification I'll bet he'll Email you back. He got right back to me about a question I had.
