What is the best header?

I am putting a 440 into a Fury III. Can anyone recommend what headers I should buy? Also should I go for 1&7/8 or 2" primaries. The car will be used for street and strip action.

...If you are using a hydraulic cam and standard size valves I would use a 1.625 tube size such as Hedman makes. You can get them at Jeg's, Summit, or just about anywhere.

The problem with a C-body is that you don't have much choice. B-body headers will not fit without modifications and I think the only header currently available is the Hooker Super Comp with 1 3/4" primaries. I don't know of any other BB headers for any body style with smaller than that primaries. The problem with the Super Comps is the price, they are expensive. Propably 3-400$, but the fit is good and they do not hang very low, so they are good for street use too.

Hedman B body hedders fit beautifully in a "C" body. They hang high and have lots of clearance. I ran that combo.
