What do you need the car to do better?
What class are you running it in? What size and type of tires do you have on it?
What type of modification's are allowed?
Mopar Performance has a suspension book avalible for about $20.00, I personally don't know what if any information they have on B-body handling idea's.
Give more information about the Charger, maybe I, or someone else on here can help you out.
I autoX (Solo ll) as much as possible. My Neon R/T is now in 2nd place in my class and doing better every time it goes out.

Later,
Jeff C.

feel free to e-mail me for information.

I AM RUNNING IN CLASS ESP.
MY FRONT TIRES ARE 235X15 AND THE REAR ARE 295X15, I'M PLANNING ON PUTTING ON 16 INCH RIMS FOR AUTOX TIRES.
I HAVE ONE SUSPENSION BOOK AND MOST OF THE INFORMATION IS ON A BODIES. SOME OF IT CAN CROSS OVER.
THERE ARE MUSTANGS AND CAMERO'S IN THIS CLASS.
I AM MORE INTERESTED IN GETTING CLOSE TO THE CHEVELLE IN TIME. RIGHT NOW I'M ABOUT 4 SECONDS BEHIND HIM.
I ALSO HAVE AN AUTO TRANS, 8 3/4 SUREGRIP.

First off I'll tell you I'm not a auto cross racer! We run circle track and run the B body suspensions(68 & 74 Chargers). I do know that the Mopar Chassis book has an excellent section on A & B body handling. It explains how to correct steering problems with a stock suspension. I know from our experience one of the biggest improvements we have made was to install a poly-graphite bushing kit from Energy Suspension. It really firmed up the front in a turn. Another thing to look at is your rear springs. Remember they are over 20 years old and on the heavy Charger have lost some or most of their arch. I do know that lowering the car as much as posible helps too. Hope this helps and good Luck!!!!!

I think that if you really want to win, you should buy an a-body. they are not worth as much as a b body and they are lighter. I recomenned a Dart/Scamp/Valiant 4dr/Dart 4dr these are the least expensive cars to use. I recommend a '67-'74 car because of the wider body so you could use your 400ci
