I keep blowing my seal out of my stock 8 3/4 axles so I think my axle is untrue. So it is time to go with a high performance axle. What do you all suggest???

Thanks,

Bryan

I use Mosier Engineering and have not had any trouble. I have axles w/ non-adj bearings. Price was right also.

I think im going to go with Mosier especially for the price. The only bad thing is that I have to find someone to cut them down 3/8 of an inch next year so I can run them on my 64 Fury Sport.

Thanks again,

Bryan

I use alloy axles from Dutchman Motorsports in my 498 Mirada. Came ready to bolt in for 400.00. We sent them c-body axles and they shortened and re-splined, installed "green" type bearings, and long studs for a little over 200.00. These axles are in my dads 11 sec Duster. They treated us real well.

Iceman I would get the axles from Moser thats where I got mine but check with them on whether you can have those same axles recut later for your Fury. What is the size you need now? and what is the size you will need in the Fury? Besides wont you still need a set in your Roadrunner in order to drive it?
I think Moser can get you a set of good stock axles for your Roadrunner and when it comes time to setup your Fury then oder a set of race axles.

My 2 cents

Christian

Christian,

I just ordered a set of Race Axles with 2 inch studs for the Road Runner. They told me that the Road Runner axles were 3/8 of an inch longer than the axles needed for my Fury so they said that to use them later all I would have to do is have them cut down a bit. So I ordered these Race Axles complete with Bearings and all and the plates for only $398.00 dollars to my front door step. Now I think that is very reasonable. They were defenatly very helpfull. Thanks for the info. and by the way I love the Indy SRs that you had refered me too a while ago. When I asked you about the Indys vs. 906s. I am now running 11.86s at the strip but before with the stock 906s I was running 12.70s. Big improvement and I love it. Cant wait to put this combination in my little 64 Fury Sport.

Thanks agian,

Bryan
