Default 8 3/4 rear end for sale

Just looking to see if you still have the 8 3/4 chrys. rear end for sale.
I am in the detroit (downriver) area and would like to take a look at it.
Hopefully it will work in a 1971 dodge dart.

You would have to cut the housing quite a bit for that to work.

Default 8 3/4 Chrys. Rearend

I'll keep looking I guess.
I would like to find a complete rearend (Housing,Axles with 4 1/2" b.p. ,etc.) that will bolt right in but I know that is asking a lot.

The housing will usually run you $250 or so. If you can't find the A-Body narrow housing, your best bet is to have a larger one cut down for you. If you find the axles without the step down in size in them, they can also be cut down and re-splined, but there are plenty of places that will have what you need without going that route with the axles themselves.

I thought I saw the spring mounting tab and axle width dimensions listed somewhere online. If you can't find the dimensions here or elsewhere, I know I can get them for you, so you can have a wider 8 3/4" axle housing cut and welded where it's supposed to be for your car if you can't find one.

I've hear an early B Body housing will work just be 1inch wider or so ....with the right off set wheel you should get it to look right
