What types of things can I check to get my gas gauge to work.Its got a new rear harness in the car,new sending unit ground strap.1967 barracuda notchback.

You may have a rusted out float on the sending unit. I have the same problem on my Challenger. You can fix it with epoxy or you can buy a new/used one.
