Cool

Just wondering if anyone out there has used the Brodix Aluminium B1 BA heads before ?
I would love to know any details on cost, performance and reliability for a street/strip application and also how they compare to MP's W2/W5/W7, Edelbrock's Performer Heads and Batten W2's.

I understand the Brodix heads are like the Edelbrocks in terms of component compatability except that Brodix rocker shaft stands must be used to mount STD Mopar rollers. Any other info ?

Any more tech/recommendations would be greatly apreciated.

Question

Leigh, saw your post on Best Small Block heads..... Food for thought. Does the intake rocker have to be offset or can I use my J/X head style rollers ? Would these heads be reliable on a street/ strip type car. Any more info about your heads would be fantastic ie: cost, porting, ported flow specs, cost $$. As I'm in Australia, I need to know as much as I can about these heads so I don't make an expensive mistake. Thanks mate.

My set are highly ported. I never used them on a street car. I wish I could find the article that really picks them apart....I'll keep looking. You do need a offset intake arm. These things can make some serious grunt if put in the hands of an experienced porter. Like 620 @6800, 530 ft.lbs. @5300. By the way, I do have dyno sheets to back those numbers up. You will have to rely on some of the other guys who have the heads you mentioned and ask for their performance numbers. Good luck.

I think the B1 BS's need the offset intake rockers.
