Question

im thinking of putting 3 inch wheels studes in so that when i put my slicks on with weld wheels my studes will stick out far enough to be legal, however my american racing outlaw wheels that i run on the street arent near as thick, is there a chrome acorn lugnut thats deep enough for 3 inch studes on an american racing alum. wheel? im really unsure of what to do i dont want the car to look like crap one the street but dont want to be hasseled at the track!
also should i get the longer 1.365 shanked nuts for the welds??

Just use the open ended lugs other wise I don't thin there is a lug lon enough to cover the whole stud. Or cut them down to what you really need and make sure your threads are straight. Then go to it.

Me I just use the open ended nuts on both the racing wheels and the street wheels. I don't think it looks bad.
