I am Bulding up a 318 for my 1970 Plymouth Duster, and I was wondering if any of you guys had any good reciepe to make it run high 13's or low 14's? I have heard that boreing it 30 over will not be that noticable. Is that true? Also I need a good machine shop in the seattle/kent area.
Please let me know if any of you guys has the answer to my questions. Thanks, Jake |

Its true! You'll never know if an Engine is .030 over bore. Is the MoPar Performance build up not what your looking for. They break it all down into packages for 1/4 mile runs in seconds. A complete list of parts are included.
Wheres Tony W for his page? Look for his home page listed on the board. He'll pop up sooner or later. I built one a while ago using A 600cfm holley on a TorkerII w/ A 3angle valve jobed 360 "J" head and headers. The cam was a crane Max Velocity rated @ 272/284 dur. w/ .454./.480 lift. All in around 9.0-1 comp. Tranny was a 4spd and 4.10 gears. Have fun!! |

I ran a 318 with a 280 duration 474 lift mopar cam, edelbrock performer intake , 650 holley , 3.55 rear , 3000 stall convertor in a 727 went best 0f 13.2 @104 in a 72 scamp. It was awesome for the low $ spent. Good luck!
