My father-in-law is planning on shoehorning a 440 into one of his conquests, got to figure out a tranny and front suspension as well as the frame(probably boxed) any insight on this conversion would be greatly appreciated.

That's almost the same as what I was thinking. I want to put a 360 in my brothers Eagle premier. They are pretty much the same type of design aren't they?

After doing a v-8 Ram50 swap and year ago...I want to put a Mopar v-8 in something a little more difficult.

I guess I do...lol I have a Big Block in an Aspen and a small block Ram 50. They both run mid 13's.

Wouldn't a 13 second Eagle Premier get the groceries quick? lol

how does your ram50 handle all that weight around a corner, and braking? I was thinking about installing a 318, but now I want to transplant a conquest (2.6 turbo). So far, with the existing 2.0, I installed a weber 32/36 2 bbl, ported the head, ported the intake manifold, electric fuel pump, accel ignition, pacesetter header, 2 inch exhaust, flowtech/warlock hi flo muffler, and dropped it 2 1/2 in the front, 3 1/2 in the rear. And about ready to install a firestone airbag suspension. It's quick, and it can handle a corner faster than I can turn the wheel.

It handles really well. I had to relocate the front bushings for the sway bar but other than being 1/2 lower it looks and drives like it has a 4 cyl in it. I put the engine in so it would clear the stock hood.

I made up drawings for the swap that I can send you if you want to hold on to until you do the swap. As soon as I can I'll post some pictures.

Just e-mail me at indychamp@hotmail.com

My truck is an automatic.
