I AM IN THE PROCESS OF REBUILDING A 360 FOR MY EVERYDAY/TOW VEHICLE. I HAVE A 86
360 AND WAS WONDERING IF IT WAS SAFE TO BORE THE THINWALL BLOCK TO ..O30. AND EXPECT IT TO LAST, OR SHOULD I TRY TO FIND AN EARLY YEAR 360 TO BE SAFE. I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY ADVICE THAT U COULD GIVE ME. THANKS |

I wouldn't see a problem with .030...maybe if you had to go .060 I would have it sonic checked.

0.030" is no problem.
Check out the Hughes HE0914AL cam for the RV engine. I just finished building a 360 RV engine, but it isn't installed yet. I'll post how it runs once I get it installed. |
