It's almost that time of year again.....June 30th is Pentastars at the Point. A whole day of hammering your Mopar around the 10-turn, 2-mile road course at Summit Point, West Virginia, which is a real easy schlep from anywhere in the northeast, midwest, or mid-Atlantic regions.

You'll get a minumum of 3, 1/2-hour track sessions where there's NO SPEED LIMITS. You can turn off your radar detector, guys! Plus 4 classroom sessions, and there's more....my (in?)famous tech seminar. You'll go home with a much greater appreciaton of just how awesome are the handling and braking capabilites your stock Mopar posesses. Plus, you'll learn the secrets to cutting corners that will blow your significant other's mind on the next freeway off-ramp!

Damn near ANY Mopar can get the job done. Shelby Chargers to Charger R/Ts, Neons to 'Cudas, Intrepids to Road Runners, C-300s to 300Ms. And you won't ball it up, either - passing is allowed, to be sure, but never in corners, and only with the 'permission' of the slower car. And Summit Point is an intrinsically safe (yet challlenging and interesting) track, with plenty of runoff room at almost every corner and braking zone. Some mud on your tires, maybe, but those $2,000 '71 Cuda fenders will stay straight and cherry!

Cheap deal, too - under $200, all inclusive. This is the most fun you can have above the waistline - trust me on this.

For signup info, either go to the Car Guys, Inc. website at: www.carguysinc.com
or send e-mail to: the boss@carguysinc.com
or call (800) 800-GUYS
Hope to see you - and your Mopar -there.

Hey, Rick, glad to see you finally came to this site! I've been trying to hold up my end of tech things here, at least as far as Slant Sixes are concerned. Sent you a letter on that issue a month or so ago. I went to the One Lap site recently, and your name and the One Lap Valiant weren't there! All this time you've been getting it tuned up, and now the third year you haven't put it in the One Lap? Anyhow, glad to see you here, and enjoy the wide variety of topics we have going on.
