Unhappy

Just FYI for you guys who are thinking of using ARP main cap bolts. They didn't do their homework. The bolt heads are so tall that your oil pump won't bolt on. I called them & they sent me a new bolt (shipped at my expense) with a shorter head but I still had to clearance (grind) the pump to get it to fit.
Save yourself some grief and use a stock bolt on that rear main cap

Had the same problem with a race engine I built. I used a different approach took the cap to the machine shope had 1/2" milled off the cap still plenty of meat and the bolt fit great. Hope this helps
