I wanted to put adjustable air shocks on the back of my fury, but I was told that it would greatly affect the way it handles because of the way the torsion bars keep the car stable. Is this true?!? Thanks

I had air shocks on my 66 newport to help level it out when towing.I never noticed any ill effects whether they were fully inflated or at 0 p.s.i. I also added an extra leaf to both sides.
