Caravan Power Steering Pump - Moparchat

I have 1997 Grand Caravan Sport w/ 47,000 miles; no extended warranty :- (

The power steering pump has developed a leak. I've attempted to replace it but it's just too difficult for a driveway mechanic to do.

A shop has quoted me $470 as it is very labor intensive, including removing either the exhaust or the CV shaft for accessing the pump.

Does anyone know of a TSB from Chrysler on the P/S pump? (This might also include other cars at Chrysler.)

Or, is there any suggestions on how to perform this replacement without killing myself?

Which engine do you have? there are two different configs based on displacement .Ill get back to you after you post or pm me displacement......PRO.....

Oops! I can't believe I forgot such basic information.

1997 Grand Caravan Sport w/ 3.3L V6, 4auto, A/C (dual) and all other options.
