I know this is like comparing apples to oranges but I thought I'd take a shot anyways. My buddy has a 96? Chrysler Concorde LX w/traction control, which I think made a differance in this case. The roads up here in Maine right now have alot of sand on them so I just spun off the line. I brought the rpm's up to about 1400 w/ the brakes on then let the beast loose, the rear broke loose so I feathered the gas and hit back into it. all traction. By this time he pulled 1 1/2 lengths on me, second gear i stayed right with him up to about 80 or so then i let out about 2 lengths back. I was expecting him maybe to beat me by a little more than that considering I have 400 lbs. of sand in the bed of my Ram and a lot more weight overall compared to power. Now I guess I know the true meaning of "sandbagging".......lol.....Just something to do on a boring Friday night.......ramiam
