I have a 1993 Dodge Shadow sedan that has 14x6 American Racing wheels with 205 60 R14 Road Hugger gt-a tires on it...would like to go a little larger if possible.

Does anyone know the absolute largest wheels, and tires I can use with my car?

There is a chance that you could bump up to a 16 inch rim. However, before dumping a lot in rime that don't work, you ought to see what's around. Also, if a 16 inch rim fits, you're looking at buying zero profile tires for the rest of the life of your vehicle. It's pricey, but if you're looking for performance out of your Shadow, it will be yours.

Thanks for the input everyone. I thought 225 50's would fit because I'd remembered seeing them on a 89 csx...have another question though. I've been thinking on installing Eibach's 1" lowering springs on the car to stiffen up the suspension, and lower the center of gravity a bit. Will 225 50's still fit my Shadow if I install the before mentioned lowering springs? Any help is most apprechiated. thanks
Mike

Mike,
I can't tell you for sure if the Eibachs will work or not. I can tell you this. When I first got my 92 Duster, much like your Sundance, the springs had been cut down. I had the stock 195's on the car, and if I hit a serious bump, I got a little bit of rubbing. If the Eibachs are stiffer than the stock springs, you ought to be safe under most conditions. However, with the extra width in the wheel well, I'd cautious. See if anyone else has input.

Rob
I was asking if 225 50's would still work with my car since I'm planning to stiffen up the suspension on my car a lot. Such as putting on the Eibach 1" lowering spring. Also a 1.25" front sway bar, 7/8" rear sway bar, strut tower brace from Lambros Race Engineering in St Louis Mo. Other considerations are urethane suspension bushings for as many parts as are availible. I know for sure they're availible for front control arm, strut rods, and swar bars.

I'm thinking of maybe putting on the Mopar performance 2.2L engine mounts as well.
