Question

This is for my father in law( too bad it's not me). recently he purchased a 1971 'cuda 383 4 speed(pistol-grip shifter) all original from the orignal owner with just over 60000 miles on it for $2500. doesn't run....needs a lifter. does anyone know where we can find a set of gills. the cheapest we found were reproductions for $399. and then some nut at the nationals in columbus last year had a ROUGH fender with gills for $900 but we thought it was a little steep. If you can help let me know. and by the way if you have a '71 B/B 'Cuda you want to give away that cheap I'll buy it!

You have to watch out at the big events. A lot of guys throw ridiculous prices on things just to if there is a sucker out there. That will be a tough one to find. If that guy still has it you might want to strike a deal depending on how rough. The Nats are a ways away so he might good luck. You could also try the guru Galen Govier (sp?) I don't have his address or number on me maybe someone else can help out or run an internet search, I beleive he has a web site. He can hopefully give you some leads if he doesn't have it. Good Luck!
