I was over on the Rumors and Gossip page, and there was a topic on a movie called "Taillights Fade". Anyone ever heard of it? I'll have to look around in the video stores for it. Supposedly, it involves a '71 Dodge Demon and a race across Canada. If nothing else, it certainly sounds like a good title for a road race movie.

Tim, also try "Born to run" with Richard Grieco. Lots and lots of background Mopars in a street racing environment.

The Duster in Dazed and Confused was a '73-'74, I think I remember it being a '73. No big gaps between the bumpers and body from the hydraulic bumper mounts that were started in '74. The grille and taillights are obvious many times in the movie, no way is it a '71. The movie "Happy Gilmore" with Adam Sandler used a '73 Duster also.

I saw the movie "Tail Lights Fade" at Blockbuster Video yesterday and rented it. I found it to be a dumb movie with a weak plot, but the part with the '71 Demon was good, although much too short.
