I have a '97 DOHC 5-speed, I'd like to find out how to stop the speed from cutting off at about 120mph. I'm not sure if I have to change the computer or if there is a cheaper or easier way to do it. Any help that you could give me would be appreciated.

Your Neon is speed limited to 118 mph.
The best thing to do is add a MP PCM, or an AFX PCM. These units WILL increase power, and remove your top end limit. Or...you could trade it in on a 98-99' Neon R/T, it was speed limited at 130mph. You would need at least 1.5 miles of clear road to reach 130, if not more depending on mods. Not to mention...more money Later, Jeff C. |
